In Memory of our Dear Pastor Stanley Webb
On January 26, 2011 we all lost a dear Friend and Pastor in Stanley Webb, the founder of Trinity Pentecostal Church. A man after Gods own heart, God gave him a vision he strived for each and every day of his life. Each of us here at Trinity and Everyone who ever came in contact with him was blessed to have known him. He had a great sense of humor that continuously kept a smile on our face. Though he never had children of his own he was a father figure to many , married some, dedicated some and also preached the funerals of others. He was a True friend from beginning to end, he stood for the right and always showed Love to those he met, and taught us to do the same. He was the epitome of what a Pastor should be, too many times his Lovely wife Rhoda Webb and he would be at each and every Crisis or Celebration we experienced. When we would have a death in the family or at the birth of our children, anything, they would be there most times before we were. He instilled in each of us to "Stay together, Love one another and raise your family in Church." He also left us with the true knowledge of the Word of God, not to judge others , but the fruits that they bear, and study the Word to show Yourself worthy. He will be Greatly missed by all and never be replaced in our hearts. His vision of Gods plan will live on in us and our future generations to come. He is gone for now, but as brother Jim Brock said in his sermon, "what is buried is not always dead". On resurrection morning he will rise first, and we that are alive and remain, will meet with him in the air to forever be with the Lord. He always wanted to go in the rapture with his church, but he will beat us all there, and what a great homecoming that will be. That is the hope we all can have who have accepted Jesus Christ as savior. Pastor Webb would have wanted all of us, especially our Trinity family and all those he ever preached to, join him on that great day. I ,and everyone that knew the man Stanley Webb, will always have a place in their hearts where he will remain. But he will never be forgotten for who he was, what he stood for, or the Legacy he left behind for the future of this Congregation and its new Pastor. We stand behind Pastor Jason King with the same Love we shared with Brother Webb, and we will continue to place God first in all we say and do. We Love you Stanley and Rhoda Webb and thank you Both for everything you've ever done for us. You are everything we could have ever asked God for, and as long as there's breath in this body the memory of Stanley Webb will live on.
